BUSINESS CHALLENGES
The client, a pharmaceutical giant, faced challenges with their outdated and inefficient CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System). Their CTMS had many redundnt and manual processes. The complex and time- consuming document sharing and data access processes resulted in high operational costs and resource requirements. The CTMS was incompatible with their other systems and platforms, creating data silos and errors. Poor data quality controls led to errors and inconsistencies in their clinical data, limiting its usability and delaying the market launch of their drugs
SOLUTION
Our solution was to migrate the legacy CTMS system to Veeva Vault CTMS, which is a modern AWS Cloud based CTMS system. To achieve this, we performed the following milestones:
- We conducted a detailed analysis of their existing CTMS, covering both functional and technical
- We generated a detailed data governance analysis report, including data access control, data profiling, and data quality
- We performed thorough data cleansing to improve the clinical data quality.
We completed a comprehensive user migration from the legacy CTMS to Veeva Vault, for a streamlined access control.
